ABOUT US

The Cascade Rural Fire Protection District was established in 1984, with the Valley County EMS District being formed in 2010.  Cascade Rural Fire Protection District contracts with Valley County to provide ALS, Advanced Life Support, to the southern portion of Valley County.  An elected Board of Fire Commissioners oversees CRFPD in accordance with State of Idaho statutes.

CRFPD service areas consist of approximately 110 square miles for fire protection and a 1,300 square mile Emergency Medical Services District for ambulance transport.  Our EMS District starts at the Boise County/Valley County line on Highway 55, mile marker 84.5, and continues north to mile marker 125 on Highway 55. 

Cascade Rural Fire Protection District provides Structural Fire Suppression, Wildland Fire Suppression, ALS Ambulance Transport Service, Vehicle Extrication, Swiftwater Rescue, Coldwater Rescue, and Snowmobile Rescue.

We respond to a broad spectrum of calls throughout the year.  All personnel responds to all types of calls in all types of environments and sometimes remote areas.
